UIL sanctioned
Brooks Academy of Science and Engineering participates in UIL sanctioned public school extracurricular activities. Brooks Academy is District 29-AA, which is arranged by UIL classification to ensure that student’s compete on a regular basis with other schools in the geographic area of a similar size.

Clubs and the ‘House’ system
Your child will belong to a ‘house’ during their career at Brooks Academy. Throughout the year the four ‘houses’ participate in intramural competitions by earning points in various activities from sports and academic to social behavior. At year end, one ‘house’ claims the prestigious title of ‘House Champion’ and receives an appropriate reward.
